From EpiWiki
Welcome to the Epi Discussion Group Wiki. Here we will record summaries of the meetings, link to useful resources, the programme for future meetings and anything else that may be useful. To edit these pages you need to create a user id and login; this process requires a valid email address which must be authenticated before you may edit pages. Please feel free to edit, amend, add and delete content as you think appropriate. Be aware that anyone can currently register to read and edit this wiki. Posts must comply with copyright law and users must remember that anyone may read and edit content. Wikipedia copyright [1] and policy notes are not a bad starting point for advice with this. If you are new to Wiki Culture see this article from Wikipedia and for specific editing help see this one including a handy cheatsheet. If you want to practice editing use the sandbox. Maths can be added using Mimetex; use Texaide to generate maths code. While this Wiki is in it's early stages, style and policy ideas can be suggested here.
For a general review of the use of Wiki-type media in the medical sciences, see a recent article in Nature Medicine (requires full online access to the journal).
